XL Gives Back:
It started two years ago with a newly formed church (XL) doing a “Pimp My Ride” series and actually pimping a guy’s 1989 Ford Probe (video of the reveal). Last year, XL gave away a restored classic VW Bug (video of the giveaway). This year, XL went all out and planned to do an XL Gives Back, Extreme Makeover Home Edition style. They had prepared to renovate a home, but the family that was chosen lived in a trailer. XL replaced the trailer, provided all the furnishings, landscaped the yard, and gave the family a new car (photos).
Imagine if every church cared enough about people in the community to do something about it.
